SEA URCHIN SCONCE

Stefan Gulassa describes his Sea Urchin collection of cylindrical cast glass and bronze forms as reminiscent of fireflies in a jar, a mini galaxy of warm lights glowing and enticing you in. Each pendant has its own character, with textured marks from the casting process and perfectly imperfect pieces of cast glass—with chill marks, bubbles and movement—that reflect and refract the warm LED light. Nowhere is this more obvious than in the sconce version of this design, its own mesmerizing universe suspended from a bronze back plate by a silk-covered cord.
