PILULE SATIN PENDANT

The name “Pilule” or “Little Pill” is deceptive, as this illuminated glass sculpture is, in fact, quite generous in size, and crafting it is no small feat. From the Paris atelier of JMW Studio, founder Jeremy Maxwell Wintrebert and his team blow two separate pieces of glass that are fused together while still in molten form. The range of colors chosen reflects both the story of the glass transitioning from hot to cold and the sky transitioning from day to night. Each color behaves differently at the same temperature, and reacts differently to being shaped, resulting in singularly unique pieces.
