LURE SCONCE

Alison Berger was inspired to create the Lure Sconce after studying the flow of a fishing line, from the mechanics of the reel that releases it to the form it takes when it hangs from a rod. The mouth-blown, hand-formed crystal shade is exceedingly delicate. It is attached to a backplate via a cord threaded through a loop that mimics the way fishing line threads through a rod. This sconce is blown in Berger’s Los Angeles atelier and annealed for several days before being finished by hand. Each is truly one of a kind.
