CYRIL SCONCE

The Cyril Sconce, by artist Stefan Gulassa, is made of a lost wax cast bronze body that is partially wrapped in kiln-formed glass, creating an out-of-the-box, totem-like fixture with no equivalent. The hand-sculpted, strong geometric cast bronze juxtaposes the gently curved free-form glass. This piece reflects the use of multiple processes, all showing the expressive touch of the artist. Concealed within the dynamic design are dimmable LEDs illuminating the glass while casting a warm, gentle glow on the wall behind, resulting in a mesmerizing sconce that is enticing from every angle.
